Just give me Jesus and Java!

Suffice it to say I have contemplated as to whether or not I am in my right mind. I did not ask for this; perhaps this is all my imagination. I have prayed about it. I've tried avoiding it, but I failed. So I've decided rather than fight it, I will write it! To be honest, I don't write down everything. I do get lazy. Or, the "image" is recurring throughout the day - whenever, wherever I don't see a need to write it. Below are more exciting experiences between May and December of 2021. May 20th, 2021 Word : Exuberant. 05-23-21 Vision: Jesus or the Father reaching into someone's chest and ripping out the heart 5/27/21 Word: Stay (after asking about my job) Word: I can't remember the exact phrase, but "My church will not fail, My church will go, My church not fall." 6-2-21 At night went to bed and heard that Trump was returning or coming back. 6/5/21 Sitting and praying in the car, speaking to the Lord, I suddenly started talking his words,...

"The purpose of this blog is to share my faith journey and inspire you to deepen your relationship with Jesus"! I've always felt a connection to the Holy Spirit- even before my confirmation. It makes sense since we are a part of the Body of Christ and receive the Holy Spirit at Baptism. I'm not a prophet, nor do I claim to be "God's Gift" to the earth. I'm an ordinary woman - some consider me crazy - on a spiritual journey open to the Holy Spirit. Call it a sense of intuition, but I've always had a few gifts to cultivate my and others' faith. My fear of the Lord and belief that He can do everything have never wavered. I have, however, doubted my worth and His plans for my life. I always thought about myself and what others could do for me. If I did not get my way, I'd run away- usually. I needed help following through with anything, failing to reap the fruits of my labor. John 3:21 Illumination of Conscience-  A Christmas Carol type of event !  Remember the Charles Dickens Classic - The Christmas Carol?  A Christmas Carol  recounts the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, an elderly miser who is visited by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and the spirits of  Christmas  Past, Present, and Yet to Come. After their visits, Scrooge is transformed into a kinder, gentler man.  What if you were to experience a similar event that would be life-changing?  Well, we will! Sometimes you just have to acknowledge that the situation is out of your control, surrender it to the Lord, and wait to see how he will help you. I fail to listen to God when He speaks to me all too often. The older I get, the more I pray for guidance in discerning what He is telling me, especially during dreams, words & visions. Someone once asked me, "What makes you so special that God speaks to you?" I explained to him that every one of God's children has the power to connect with the Creator! I believe God desires to speak to all of His children -if they are open & willing! It was about this time that I began to experience revelations regarding current events and visions. God put it upon my heart to keep a journal regarding any dreams, words, revelations & visions.  Trust me, I had no desire to be awoken in the middle of the night to log these experiences- I'm a busy momma, and I like sleep! I'm doing this because the Lord asked.   Please understand that God has also shown me the difference between thoughts and "visions" during this time. I asked Him because I thought I was losing my mind! I do not know if there is any legitimacy or substance to these entries, nor can I interpret them right now. Therefore, as always, you use discernment & prayer!  He has poured out His Spirit & gifts not just for me but for MANY during this season.
